Something I've Wanted To Do Since I Was Fourteen

Is go on a roadtrip. :3 And next year, I'll get to.

It started out so random, aha. Christy mentioned she was going to take a roadtrip with her BFF, Yvone, and I joked about hiding in the trunk because I wanted to go. And from there, somehow, I ended up actually being a part of the trip, LMAO. I was scared Yvone would, like, fuckin' hate me for squirming my way in there, but she seems okay... we'll just see if she kills me in my sleep later for it. xD

So, basically, it's cross country - the three of us will start out in Sacramento, California and end up in Hickory, North Carolina. So, I'll have to buy a one-way plane ticket to Cali, which sucks, but at least it'll only be about a 100 bucks or so. xD Each of us are making a list of the states we want to hit... it's not going to be straight from Cali to NC, we're making a fucking squiggle over the US, LOL.

The main worry Christy and I have is how much money each of us needs to save. I'm thinking upwards of thousands, just so while we're traveling, we don't need to stress if we have enough. I got an idea of a rough way to estimate how much we'll need for gas, but for food, souvenirs, and the occasional hotel/motel stop, we'll have to just guess. xD A couple thousand each, at least.

The main reason I'm writing this is to keep track of all the little things I want to do while on the trip -

ONE - I want to have a prank war, LMAO. Nothing BIG or really mean, just little things to amuse us all. The target for the pranks depends on which state we're in - if it's Texas, a state Christy wants to visit, she'll be the target, or if it's Colorado, it'll be me. If it's a state we ALL wanted to visit, we're all fair game, lol. idk why I want to do this, I just do. xD

TWO - I want to buy a postcard in every state I hit and send one to my mother [because I love her. D:], one to my grandmother [because I wanna rub it in her face that I can travel without her help, ffft] and one to my grandfather [because he complains I don't contacts him enough, loll].

THREE - I want to take as MANY PICTURES AS POSSIBLE with many different types of cameras [my digi cam, those cheap plastic camera's you find in stores and Polaroids] . xD And, along the way, I wanna make a scrapbook. In fact, I think all three of us should make a separate album, so we each could have one when it was over. :3

FOUR - Souvenirs. xD Come on, ya gotta get 'em. Hmm, two from each state; one for me and one for my mother. 8D

FIVE - Christy got this idea. xD I really like it. Take our laptops with us and blog about our journey, our experiences, anything in particular that was funny or interesting. It'd be really awesome to look back on and read after the trip.

....I think that's it, LOL. I'll add more to this list if any more come to me.

For future reference, if I lose the piece of paper I wrote this down on, the states I want to visit areee:

Colorado [where Escent and Disenchantment take place]
Oklahoma [Claire. :D ]
Kansas [Kara, but Idk if she'll still be there next year, so this isn't for certain]
Tennessee [Amanda; this is also not for sure]
Michigan [Sketch :D]
Louisiana [NEW ORLEANS BBY I wanna see that lovely French Quarter]
Massachusetts [Salem. D: I've wanted to visit that place ever since I got into Wicca years ago, lmao]
Gettysburg, Virginia. [aha, come on, do you have to ask why?]
New York City, New York. [Christy wants to take me. xD But I do want to see it, I've never been to a big city like that, AND I want to see the Titanic exhibit sooo badlyyy]

annnnnd that's all for now. I want to see Texas, too, if I'm being honest. xD And I'd love to see the Grand Canyon in Arizona. LOL.

Travel + Money + Stress

_{D: Sorry I don't have any sketches to post. Lately, everything I draw quickly turns into a completed picture so I have nothing to show. xD

So... currently, I'm just baffled at all the traveling I want to do this year. D: And how badly I need a job NOW so I can start saving. I'm gonna visit Kara late June, early July - I'm gonna visit Claire sometime during the summer, too [or later; depends on when she moves out] - I'd like to go chill with Sketch and Wowiie when they meet up this year - AND FINALLY I want to visit Christy around October, so we can go on ghost tours. xD

The Kara visit is prolly top priority, considering how long Kara and I have been planning it out. xD SO, I want to save up 1,000 bucks per trip [but only $500 for Claire's trip, if her mother is still up for paying for my ticket xD]. So much mainly because almost half of that will be going to pay for the plane ticket, and me and each of my friends have already planned SO much we want to do, so I know I will need a lot of spending cash. xD And Kara, Claire and [mayyybe] Christy will be letting me stay at their house, so I won't need to pay for a hotel THANK GOD.

Sadlllly, I think I won't be able to chill with Sketch and Wowiie - besides, that's more of a Twins visit. xD Maybe next year for that~

LOLL I am just a bit stressed about it, like wtf, why do I want to shove so much traveling in one year. D: I have too many people I want to see and I'm uber impatient so WAITING PSHH I DON'T LIKE WAITING OKAY okay.

but I am also an optimist. xD So I'm worried, but I have enough faith in myself that I know I'll be able to go see these people if I put my mind to it. AND MY MIND IS SET SO. I hope I don't die in a plane crash. D:

|| Egyption Lady || Remember thiiiiis? : D See, I'm not a total slacker. Kinda. I'm going to try my hand at coloring backwards again [from dark to light, instead of my usual light to dark] which is why her skin is such a deep shade of brown. Wish me luck, weeeeee.

||Random Boy|| Just some random dude I sketched up the other day. I was thinking about my friend when I was drawing this, but it's strange that he turned out looking nothing like my friend at all. xD I'll name him Spencer, though, since that's my friends name.

||IsaBella|| Front-view practice, used IsaBella for this one. I need to work on getting my eyes the same size and in the correct place. :/

||Ophelia|| Side-view practice. I wanted to draw Ophelia with wavy/curly hair, I think she'd look adorable in it. :]

||Text Chibi|| Random female chibi texting a friend [or boyfriend]. Maybe a T-shirt or tote bag design, I think it'd look cute on either item, as long as I can color it right. xD The character is no one in particular... I just really like short wavy hair at the moment, for some reason or another. I did a slightly new style, I just made the legs shorter and smaller.... I like drawing long, big chibi legs, but I just wanted to draw something a little different for this picture. :D

||IsaBella|| A bald one at that! XD; Uhm, this is a remake of the very first picture I ever did of Izzy, I wish I had the original but I deleted it. DX I was going to give her straight hair, but halfway through drawing it I figured I should just give her curly, so I erased it... and then forgot about the picture entirly. LOL. Dunno if I'll ever finish this, maybe...

||Random Character|| Anyone who used to watch me on my first account on dA will recognize this~ if not, this is also a remake of an older picture. Originally, it was Kagome [from Inu-Yasha] dressed in Egyptian attire. It was the first picture I ever posted on deviantART when I first joined, and I wanted to see how much I've improved since then. You can see the first picture here: i26.tinypic.com/e6twrp.jpg & yes, I did use a reference back then. :3 I plan to finish this picture... some day and then post it on dA as kind of a 'before and after' type thing.

||Gabriel|| Just a new headshot of Gabe, from and upcoming story going to be writtin by myself & Kara. The old looks like shit, and really didn't do this hottie any justice at all. I hope I finish this soon.. fuck, I hate coloring dreadlocks.

||Alexander|| Right, so, this sketch is going on a year old now. I re-drew a couple of things a few months ago, but there are still a lot of things I need to change. I know, I know, I fail at drawing wings. D8 Give me a break, Alex has a freakin' weird wing style, and I didn't even use a reference... but maybe I should have. :/ I don't know if I will ever finish this, but I really would like to.

||Cecilia|| I.. hope I can post this, I mean... her boob is all out there, but I don't think it's that bad. D= An old sketch of Cece I did back when I first created her. I wanted to color it make it seem as though I used water colors, but I failed and since then I haven't tried again. XD This is probably something that will never get finished.

||Kasei & Kara [or Pandora & Hazel]|| A super fruity sketch I did months ago, when I was practicing side-view faces and kissing faces. I think I was asking Kara who I should draw kissing, and she said 'You and me! 8D' so. Yeah. XD I really like this, though, it turned out better than all of the other kissing faces I did.

||Candy Apple|| I'm sure you guys have seen this before, I think I had it in my scraps in my old account on dA. It's a candy apple I drew for an art shop I had up on Gaia, titled 'The Candy Apple'. XD I have no idea where I come up with titles. Anyway, I just always liked how it turned out.

||Sam|| A chibi Sam I drew for Kriista! I made it into an icon for her, which you know if you watch her on dA, but I figured she'd might wanna see the original, full-size version. :3

OKAY. So.

I'll be posting up old [or maybe new] sketches here, just so you guys can see more of my art... as if you'd even want to. > 3 >

And maybe even some sample writing for heavy WIP's, such as Velleity or Spinneret [if it ever does get worked on...].

Please note that my sketches ALWAYS always look like shit. :/ I always fix things later, when I'm lining, so most, if not all, of the art I post here will look like crap. Just warnin' ya.
